Friday was my first day at MOPS, our church group for Mother's of Pre-Schoolers. The kids got to go and play with kids their own ages and we mom's gathered for brunch and to listen to a guest speaker. I ended up paying for the whole year so I can just show up and check my kids in each time they meet which is twice a month. My friend Monika came too, and we were sitting at a table with my soon-to-be-neighbor, Glynis. The discussion was interesting, the presentation was fun, and at the end we made this foot soak to take home! (Note: It says in the newsletter that this recipe was found at Martha Stewart Online...)
Busy Mom Foot Soak
1 and 1/4 cup Epsom Salts
1 and 1/4 cup Kosher Salt
1/4 cup Baking Soda
1/4 cup Cornstarch
Up to 1/2 teaspoon Lemon Essential Oil
Up to 1/4 teaspoon Spearmint Essential Oil
To make the foot soak, combine all ingredients in a gallon-size resealable plastic bag. Shake to combine. Add about 1/2 cup of mixture to warm water for a foot bath. Use entire mixture within a few weeks.
